“I have been a tenant here for almost 3 years, and I rent one of the larger units. I have always paid on time, and I am a tenant in good standing. I am currently going through some financial hardships, so I went online to see what the cost of a smaller unit would be. I noticed that the smaller units have a special for the 1st 3 months plus the monthly regular price is considerably less than what I pay currently. As I was looking through the advertised information, I noticed that the advertised price on my size unit is $34 less than what I currently pay, with no move in special. I called the office to get some clarification on a few things. This is what I was told: 1. I would not qualify for the discount if I moved to a smaller unit. It is only for new tenants. 2. Then I asked for them to reduce my monthly rent to match the advertised price. They turned me down flat...not even taking into consideration the length of my tenancy. The excuse being that I had discussed moving to a smaller unit. If I have to move my items, I will consider moving them to a different storage facility. I am trying to handle this situation long distance and they have no idea what customer service is. EDIT: The Friday after I posted this review they agreed to lower my rent to the current advertised price..”

“I’ve asked for over 3 months now if they could fix the light issues by my inside storage unit because it is so dark. It has been very inconvenient and I have to bring my own light if I want to see. During the transition the price went up considerably and with less accessibility. And unfortunately I needed to get into my unit before a meeting and there was a malfunction with the gate. Took them all day to fix it. I asked them to update me and never received that info. There’s only one way in. And the office seemed always to be closed..”

“The storage facility and the staff on site are excellent. I cannot say the same for the upper management. We receive surprise rate hikes 2 or 3 times a year just out of the blue. We were mandated to buy a lock that it seems they were the only ones that had one. Upper management seems to want to take advantage since to move elsewhere while possible is just not practical. Please this is not a criticism of the staff on site. They are wonderful. Just a note of caution to those who are looking..”
